| A sheet and blanket provide modest draping during the massage, so you can wear whatever amount of clothing that makes you feel comfortable Massage or bodywork should not be construed as substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Be sure to communicate your preferences to the massage therapist before and during the massage regarding your goals for massage and depth of pressure. Massage can mobilize toxins and chemical by-products of muscle spasm into the lymphatic system. To prevent post-massage soreness, it is important to drink alot of water following bodywork to better flush out these toxins. |
